We will require the form and passport copy to load the form on the French Portal and book appointment.
The client then takes ALL the documents to the appointment.
We then send our driver to meet client to assist with the payment as payment for the visa can only be done by card on submission.
If the client has a corporate card and can make payment, then mour driver does not have to meet the client.
Once submitted, visas can take ±10-15 working days
The traveller can either collect once ready or can arrange with Capago to send the passport to the Postnet of their choosing.
Requirements:
Valid passport (must be valid for six months). Temporary passports WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
Original, fully completed application form.
Two recent passport size colour photographs (must have a white background). NO STAPLE MARKS ON THE PHOTOS.
Detailed flight itinerary.
Insurance and breakdown of insurance and must state “Schengen” and must be issued from at least date of departure from South Africa till the date of return.
3 months recent bank statements original and must be stamped. This needs to be done before date of appointment. Please note: Consulate in Cape Town will not accept a bank letter as proof of funds.
Proof of accommodation (including proof of accommodation for all the other countries the passenger will be going to on this trip).
Children – letter from school.
All passengers travelling via the UK will be required to first obtain a valid British visa.
Applicants with EU family members must get a DECLARATION signed.
Processing Time
7 to 10 working days but the consulate can issue according to the date of travel.
NB: The French Consulate can reject on collection and monies are non refundable.
