Ø Valid Passport (valid for 6 months from date of entry) must have at least three clean pages left for visa.
Ø Fully completed application form.
Ø Two recent passport size colour photograph.
Ø Proof of funds – 3 months original bank statements – Preferably savings, cheque or credit card statements.
Ø Foreign exchange receipt.
Ø Proof of hotel or accommodation reservation (paid in full or guaranteed by a credit card).
Ø Detailed itinerary.
Ø Certified copy of local ID book.
Ø Original airline ticket (roundtrip) plus one copy.
Ø South African employment letter confirming that you are currently employed by the company, for how long, your position, as well your wage or yearly salary. If you own the business, please add an affidavit signed by yourself and a copy of your business’ official registration. The letter must be original (no photocopies or faxes will be accepted), on company letterhead, signed by the person in charge.
Ø Proof of your immigration status in South Africa: (if you are not a S.A. national but you reside in the country).
Ø For those residing in the Republic of Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Namibia, Malawi, Mauritius and Lesotho, the same rules apply. If you are not a National but you reside in any of the mentioned countries, evidence of your immigration status is required as well.
Ø South African employment letter confirming that you are currently employed by the company, for how long, your position, as well your wage or yearly salary. The letter must also state full names, addresses and telephone numbers of all the companies and persons the applicant will be contacting in Argentina as well as whether his/her employer assumes moral and financial responsibility during the stay in Argentina. The letter must be original (no photocopies or faxes will be accepted), on company letterhead, signed by the person in charge.
Ø If self employed then applicant must provide copy of their business registration documents certified by Notary public together with a affidavit signed in front of a Police officer or Commissioner of Oaths.
Ø Letter of invitation from the Argentinean Company.
Ø Technicians, Artists, professional sportsmen, conferences, visiting professors, academics and other professionals: Need a letter of invitation, ORIGINAL, from the host in Argentina presenting the applicant and confirming the purpose of the trip, the applicant category/type of the visa requested, duration of the visit as well as the full name, physical address, telephone and fax numbers of all the organizations and persons the applicant will contact in Argentina. The letter must state whether the host assumes financial responsibility during the stay in Argentina.
All documents to be submitted for this kind of visa, if not in Spanish, they need to be translated by a sworn translator.
Ø Authorization of legal representation of the child, signed in front of a commissioner of oath or police officer (form available on our website).
Ø A letter from the school in the place of residence stating the purpose of the trip.
Ø 10 working days.
Ø A longer period of time (up to three or four weeks) may be required for Nationals of some countries or visas with religious purposes.
