AUSTRALIA

VISA REQUIREMENTS

All applicants must appear for Biometrics at any VFS visa application center. Visas International will load the application online and advise client of an appointment of when to go in for Biometrics. They will have to pay additional Biometric fee. The visa for Australia will be an LABEL FREE visa and does not get put in the passport.

The Australian visa procedure will be:

• Load the form online and upload all the scanned documents on the Australian Immigration Website
• Pay for the visa only
• Make appointment for client to go in for Biometrics. Please note client will have to pay their own Biometric fee.

Special requirements for Tourist

Ø     Form 1419 must be filled out

Ø     Form 956 just sign □

Ø     Form 54 – Family Composition form. □

Ø     Clear color passport copy of the Biodata page, (Passport must be valid for six months). Temporary passports will be accepted. □

Ø     Jpeg color photo □

Ø     Proof of travel history: Copies of any current/old visas in passports and copies of any pages in the passport showing exit/entry stamps. □

Ø     ID copy □

Ø     An South African employment letter

Ø     If self-employed applicant must submit certified copy of company registration papers and a letter from auditor/accountant confirming that they audit/do the books for the company. □

Ø     Three months recent original bank statements (no internet bank statements). □

Ø     If visiting family or friends – invite from Australia is required. □

Ø     Itinerary □

Ø     If 75 years or older passengers with medical conditions of concern or going for more than 6 months will require medicals completed by an approved panel Doctor. □

Special requirements for Business

Ø     Form 1415 must be filled out

Ø     Form 956 just sign □

Ø     Jpeg color photo □

Ø     Form 54 – Family Composition form. □

Ø     Invitation from the company in Australia □

Ø     If 75 years or older passengers with medical conditions of concern or going for more than 6 months will require medicals completed by an approved panel Doctor. □

Minors

Ø     Notarised parental consent is required for persons under 18 years of age if they are not traveling with a parent or legal guardian, OR if they are traveling with one parent only □

Ø     For children – a letter from the school □

Ø     Minors traveling with both parents or 1 parent to Australia  need to submit full-unabridged birth certificates

Only original certified copies are accepted. ( This is the birth certificate that gives both parents first names, surnames, ID numbers as well as the child’s. Home Affairs takes approximately 4-6 weeks to issue. Visas International does NOT do this service.) □

Processing Time
