VISA REQUIREMENTS

SA NATIONALS DO NOT REQUIRE A VISA TO ENTER BOTSWANA. OTHER NATIONALS WHO WILL REQUIRE NEEDS AN E-VISA. ALL DOCUMENTS CAN BE EMAILED TO US TO PROCESS.

        GAUTENG

• Valid passport copy (must be valid for six months)

• Fully completed application form.

• Scanned photo in colour

• Itinerary

• If previously applied for a visa then a copy of the visa.

• Proof of accommodation.

• Covering letter from the applicant addressed to the Botswana Consulate General explaining purpose of the trave the type of visa requested and period of stay. If coming by road please specify this.

Special requirements for Business

• South African Business letter stating purpose of visit and duration of stay

• Dated invitation letter stating: Purpose of visit; duration of stay; type of visa i.e. single or multipl address of host in Botswana; name and surname of the host with a signature; details of the letter should state request for the visa on behalf of the applicant.
• Certified copy of the Certificate of incorporation from the company in Botswana

• Certified copy of the Trading License of the company in Botswana

Special requirements for Tourists

• South African Employment letter

• Hotel booking on letterhead

Processing time: ±10-14 working days or more, all depending when the Botswana Immigration issues.
