EGYPT VISA REQUIREMENTS GAUTENG:

Please note: SA nationals can now apply for an E-Visa for business or tourist for less than 30 days and only needing single entry. If travelling less than 30 days:

Recently, there is an option to apply for an E-Visa prior to arrival which was never allowed before. In both instances, it seems there is a fee payable of about $25 at the airport (we don’t have the option to pay online). We will require a completed application form and a passport copy to complete this process.

Processing time is approximately 2-3 working days.

If a visa is needed for more than a 30 day stay, or if needing a multiple entry, then only can applications be submitted to the embassy in Pretoria.

REQUIREMENTS:

➢ Valid Passport

➢ Passport must be valid for six months

➢ Copy of the Biometric page of the passport.

➢ Fully completed application form.

➢ 2 recent passport size colour photograph.

➢ E-ticket.

➢ If the passenger is a foreign passport holder, a copy of his/her residence status or a copy of his/her South African ID is required.

➢ Multiple entry visa – Must have letters stating why they need a multiple entry visa.

➢ Proof of accommodation

Special requirements for Tourists

➢ If travelling alone then confirmation of hotel booking.

➢ If travelling with Family/Spouse then just itinerary.

➢ Employment letter.

• 3 months recent bank statements.

Special requirements for Business

➢ South African business letter ( If multiple is requested then letter must request and state why they want a Multiple entry visa)

➢ Invite letter from the company in Egypt (no E-mails will be accepted)

➢ Copy of the host passport in Egypt who signed the invite letter.

Minors

➢ Notarised parental consent is required for persons under 18 years of age if they are not travelling with a parent or legal guardian, OR if they are travelling with one parent only. Processing Time

➢ ±5-7 working days (South African passport holders).

➢ Collections only start from 15:00

➢ ± 4 weeks, Depending on which passport the passenger is holding (Foreign passport holders).
