The Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Johannesburg and the two visa offices in Durban and Cape Town will be closed from Monday, 12th to Wednesday, 14th February for Chinese Spring Festival holiday. Please be kindly reminded your collection date will be postponed.

Please note that usually the peak days will start right after the holiday and last for a few days. Waiting time for submission and collection will be longer than usual. Therefore we kindly suggest that you may arrange your schedule accordingly in order to avoid peak days.

Chinese New Year is a festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. In Chinese, the festival is commonly referred to as the Spring Festival.

According to the Chinese zodiac, 2024 is the Year of the Dragon.
